Mobile Vehicle Technician

Job description

We are seeking a Mobile Vehicle Technician to cover Leicester and the surrounding areas, joining our established mobile vehicle servicing business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive professional seeking strong earning potential, structured training and career progression.

• £34,000 starting annual salary, plus overtime and bonuses

Duties:

• Attend customers at their homes or places of work across Leicester and the surrounding areas
• Complete pre-booked servicing and maintenance appointments
• Carry out brake repairs and basic vehicle diagnostics
• Work with both business and private customers
• Deliver a professional service as the customer-facing representative of our business
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools and equipment to a high standard
• As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, complete all work safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards

Requirements:

• IMI or NVQ Level 2 qualification, or equivalent, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is preferred
• Post-qualification automotive experience is advantageous
• Individuals with several years of practical motor trade experience may also be considered
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently
• The successful Mobile Vehicle Technician will demonstrate a positive, professional approach
