Job Description:

Are you an experienced MOT Technician seeking a new opportunity within a reputable and expanding automotive service centre?

Our client, based in Swadlincote, is looking to appoint a skilled MOT Technician to join their dedicated team. This MOT Technician position provides stability, competitive benefits, and clear pathways for professional development in a supportive environment.

Duties:

• Conduct MOT testing in compliance with DVSA regulations as an MOT Technician
• Perform servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostics
• Carry out repairs on brakes, clutches, cambelts, exhausts, and tyres
• Use wheel alignment equipment and perform wheel alignments where required
• Complete vehicle health checks and prepare detailed inspection reports
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings effectively as an MOT Technician
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and organised workshop area

Requirements:

• Valid MOT Tester licence and/or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Proven experience working as an MOT Technician in a professional workshop setting
• Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and repair skills
• Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills
• Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence
