Multi Skilled Joiner

Job description

Recruit are looking for a reliable and experienced Multi-Skilled Joiners to join our client team for a range of renovation projects across Oldham. This role involves a variety of joinery tasks across residential and commercial projects, including installation, repairs, and bespoke woodwork. The ideal candidate will take pride in high-quality craftsmanship and be comfortable working independently or as part of a team.

The Client has a long-term contract with Oldham Council for project management on their social housing scheme.

Work Days

Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Pay CIS: Starting from £160 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of joinery work including first fix, second fix, and finishing
• Install doors, windows, staircases, kitchens, and fitted furniture
• Undertake repairs, maintenance, and refurbishment work
• Read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and team members professionally
• Social Housing

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a joiner or carpenter
• Multi-skilled background (e.g., basic plastering, tiling, or plumbing is advantageous)
• Ability to work independently and problem-solve on-site
• A valid CSCS Blue Card is essential.
• Own tools and transport
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent)
