Job description
We are seeking a site based engineer to join a busy technical services team. This role requires a hands‑on engineering with installation, configuration, optimisation, and ongoing maintenance of HP and Xerox print environments . This role is also open to those with IT hardware (EPOS / Laptop/ ATM backgrounds)Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and optimise HP and Xerox multifunction printers, copiers, and production print devices at customer sites
- Provide break‑fix support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network‑related print issues
- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance
- Produce accurate technical documentation, service reports, and configuration records in line with SLAs
Experience, Skills & Personal Qualities
- Photocopiers / MFD diagnostics / ATM / Epos / IT Hardware
- Solid understanding of print servers, networking protocols, Active Directory/LDAP integration, and print queue management
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic tools
- Excellent customer‑facing communication skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a field team

- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent IT certification
