Job description
Our client, a successful and growing manufacturing business based in Norfolk, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team on a fixed-term contract. The duration of the contract is flexible and expected to be between 6 and 12 months, depending on project requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware and results-driven Project Manager with experience delivering complex projects within a manufacturing, engineering or technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead projects from initial planning through to successful completion
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and budgets
- Coordinate activities across engineering, production, quality and commercial teams
- Act as the main point of contact for customers and key stakeholders
- Monitor project progress, identifying risks and implementing mitigation plans where required
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards
- Prepare and present regular project updates and reports
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes
- Previous experience in a Project Manager position within manufacturing, engineering or a technical environment
- A proven track record of successfully delivering projects to agreed timescales and budgets
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
- A proactive and hands-on approach
