Winner Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Rugby area on a permanent basis, starting as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will hold a relevant NVQ qualification and have experience working within a primary school setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring, patient and committed Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential.
Duties and Responsibilities:Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and inclusive lessons
Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils
Support pupils with their learning, development and emotional wellbeing
Assist pupils with a range of additional needs where required
Help create a positive, safe and inclusive classroom environment
Work closely with teachers and other school staff to support pupil progress
Assist with classroom preparation and learning activities
Encourage positive behaviour and promote pupils' confidence and independence
Monitor and report on pupil progress and wellbeing
Support pupils with SEND and adapt activities to meet individual needs
Contribute to safeguarding and the wider welfare of pupils
A relevant NVQ qualification
Previous experience working within a primary school setting
A genuine passion for working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, nurturing and supportive approach
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
Experience supporting children with SEND would be advantageous
A commitment to promoting the welfare and development of children
