Senior Account Manager 

Full time | Permanent | Hybrid 

Salary £65-£70k 

Our Leicester based clients are looking for an experienced Senior Account Manager for their team in a full time and permanent role. 

The successful candidate will lead client communications with their POS clients, growing and maintaining the relationships and overseeing an Account Executive. They will also work closesly with their Sales Director and Creative Director in the pitch and tender process and other internals teams including project managers and production during the project lifecycle. 

They will be reposible for obtaining and providing clear and concise briefs from the client and providing the all importanant link between client and internal teams. 

Role and responsibilities: 

• Manage key business client accounts and drive organic growth via regular contact.
• Lead customer pitches, tenders Director support.
• Enforce and maintain Critical Path Analysis (CPA) deadlines.
• Secure written client/retailer approvals and ensure accurate capture of project costs.
• Understand client needs and maintain clear, consistent communication.
• Anticipate needs, propose commercial solutions, and manage expectations on issues.
• Deliver projects on brief, on time, and to high quality to ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Account Execs, Project Management, Operations and Production for seamless delivery aligned to CPA.
• Keep project briefs clear at every stage.
• Produce competitive, accurate quotations to win business and protect margin.
• Obtain written approvals throughout project lifecycle.
• Work with the Sales Director and Creative Designers to identify growth opportunities and target strategies.
• Provide insights for new-business initiatives and supply regular client-aligned marketing content
• Update sales forecasts weekly and report progress to the business.
• Keep internal system up to date: (quantities, dates, prices, product groups, PO numbers).
• Ensure valid PO numbers before production and invoice upon delivery.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience as an Account Management role within retail display sector or related industry, including account and project management.
• Familiarity with operational and production processes in the retail display industry.
• Proven track record in client growth.
• Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field – preferred 
• Strong understanding of the retail sector 
• Proficiency in sales forecasting and strategic planning.
• Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a for meeting and exceeding targets.
• Excellent organisational abilities.
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to business growth.
