SITE MANAGER – 2 WEEK HOLIDAY COVER

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to provide 2 weeks’ holiday cover on a live internal refurbishment project.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal refurbishments and previous experience managing projects worth half a million pounds.

The role will involve:

• Managing the day-to-day running of the site
• Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme and to a high standard
• Managing site logistics, deliveries and access
• Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and the client
• Monitoring quality and workmanship
• Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed
• Keeping the project moving and dealing with any issues that arise during the cover period

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager
• Strong background in internal refurbishment
• Experience managing a half-million-pound project
• Confident managing multiple trades and subcontractors
• Strong understanding of health & safety and site procedures
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Able to take responsibility for a live project and work independently
• SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
