Site Manager Industry: Construction Contract Type: COntract 5/6 Weeks Melton Mowbray SummaryWe require a Site Manager to oversee a minor drainage works project on a Waste Management site located in Melton Mowbray, LE13. The project is scheduled to run for approximately five weeks, commencing Monday 26th October 2026 and forecasted to complete by Friday 28th November 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all site activities to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This includes coordinating subcontractors, managing resources, maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations, and ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders. Experience in minor civil engineering works is essential to successfully manage the drainage operations and site logistics.
Skills- Proven site management experience in minor civil engineering works
- Strong knowledge of drainage systems and related civil operations
- Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Competent in health, safety, and environmental compliance
- Ability to produce and review Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in site logistics and resource planning
- Ability to maintain accurate site documentation and reporting
- Proactive approach to site safety and quality control
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Project management and scheduling software (desirable)
