Location: Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Flexible roles (day-to-day, short-term, long-term and temp-to-perm)
Salary: £34,069 - £46,940 per annum, pro-rata (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications)

About the role

Heart of Supply is looking for enthusiastic Primary Supply Teachers in Scunthorpe, from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) through to experienced Primary Teachers, to join our growing network of primary schools across Scunthorpe and the surrounding area.

We have a variety of Supply Teacher roles in Scunthorpe across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, from flexible day-to-day supply teaching and short-term cover to longer-term teaching opportunities. Whether you want the flexibility of supply teaching in Scunthorpe or something more consistent, we'll work with you to find opportunities that fit.

We're looking for confident, reliable Primary Supply Teachers who can adapt to different schools and year groups, deliver engaging lessons, build positive relationships and provide a supportive learning environment across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

About the schools

We work with primary schools across Scunthorpe and the surrounding North Lincolnshire area, supporting them with day-to-day absence, planned cover and longer-term staffing requirements.

Every school is different, so we take the time to get to know what you're looking for too. Whether you love EYFS, feel most at home in KS1, are an experienced KS2 Teacher or are happy working across the primary age range, we'll aim to introduce you to schools you'll enjoy teaching in.

What you will need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
• A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
• The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
• Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
• A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK
