Teaching Assistant - Ashford ( Primary School )

We are currently working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Ashford who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated TA who enjoys working as part of a supportive school community and is passionate about helping children thrive both academically and personally.

The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher, providing support across the classroom and helping pupils to engage positively with their learning.



The role:

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Supporting pupils across the Primary age range
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider school team
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support where required
  • Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning
  • Supporting pupils with additional needs and SEN
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom activities and day-to-day learning


The ideal candidate:

  • Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a Primary School
  • A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
  • Confident working with pupils with a range of needs
  • Patient, nurturing and adaptable
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable and committed to working as part of a school team
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS, or is willing to obtain one
