currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager - Children with Disabilities to join a dedicated Local Authority team in Nottingham.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced children's social care manager to lead a team delivering statutory services to children and young people with disabilities, ensuring they receive high-quality support and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support a team delivering statutory social work services to children and young people with disabilities.
• Oversee safeguarding, assessments, care planning and review processes.
• Provide reflective supervision, guidance and performance management to social workers and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, policy and best practice standards.
• Drive high-quality practice and timely case progression.
• Promote effective multi-agency working with education, health and partner agencies.
• Support children and families through a relationship-based, child-centred approach.
• Contribute to service development and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Foster a positive, supportive and high-performing team culture.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience (PQE) within Children's Social Care.
• Previous Team Manager or significant supervisory/management experience.
• Experience working within Children with Disabilities services.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and statutory social work experience.
• Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
• Contactable references covering a minimum of 5 years employment history.

Working Pattern

• 3 days per week in the office
• 1 duty week every 4 weeks
