Vehicle Technician

Job description

We are representing a reputable main dealership located in Llandudno Junction in their search for a Vehicle Technician.

This Vehicle Technician role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to join a team dedicated to high standards, quality service, and career development. The Vehicle Technician will be integral to maintaining the dealership’s reputation for excellence in vehicle servicing and repairs.

Benefits:

• Basic salary up to £36,000, dependent on experience and skill level
• Uncapped bonus scheme with an OTE of £45,000 or more
• Monday to Friday working hours, 8:30am - 5pm
• Alternate Saturday mornings available as overtime
• Access to manufacturer-specific training, including Toyota courses
• Full-time, permanent position with comprehensive company benefits
• Time-and-a-half overtime pay and a monthly bonus on target achievement

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs adhering to manufacturer standards
• Maintain high productivity and quality standards in line with workshop procedures
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional workshop standards and service
• Utilise manufacturer-specific systems, including Toyota flat-rate time system
• Perform MOTs (if qualified), diagnostics, and troubleshooting tasks
• Maintain accurate documentation of work carried out and parts used

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent (Level 2 candidates considered)
• Minimum of 3 years’ workshop experience as a Vehicle Technician
• Full UK driving licence
• MOT qualification advantageous
• Proven commitment to high standards of productivity and customer service
• Ability to work efficiently in a busy workshop environment
