Location: Loughborough
Pay Rate: £105 per day
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (5 days per week)
Aspire People have partnered with a school in Loughborough and are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support to a child with ADHD.
Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs? Do you have experience working with children with ADHD and understand the importance of patience, consistency and tailored support?
We are looking for someone who is calm, proactive and confident in supporting a child with ADHD to access learning, manage their emotions and develop positive relationships within the classroom.
The Role
Provide dedicated 1:1 support to a child with ADHD.
Help the child remain focused and engaged with classroom activities.
Support emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
Implement strategies to manage attention, impulsivity and concentration.
Break down tasks into manageable steps to support learning.
Encourage independence, confidence and positive social interactions.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide consistent support.
Create a positive, structured and supportive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience supporting children with ADHD is highly desirable.
Experience working with children with additional needs or SEN.
Understanding of ADHD and its impact on learning, attention and behaviour.
Patient, calm, resilient and proactive.
Confident managing challenging situations and supporting emotional regulation.
Able to build positive and trusting relationships with children.
Available to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
What Aspire People Offer
