Electrical Building Services Design Engineer
Nottingham
Up to 55k

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering electrical building services projects from feasibility through to construction and handover, with values ranging from £100k to £5M.
• Managing the time, quality, and delivery of own electrical designs.
• Producing electrical designs, calculations, drawings, and specifications for tender and construction.
• Working closely with other members of the M&E design team to deliver coordinated designs.
• Liaising with clients, architects, and project teams on a day-to-day basis.
• Coordinating with contractors and specialist suppliers to support practical and buildable designs.
• Undertaking site visits, surveys of existing electrical installations, and monitoring works on site.
• Assisting with the development of trainee and junior staff.
• Attending site and design team meetings as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• HNC/HND or Degree in Building Services, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 1+ years' experience in an electrical building services design role.
• Experience using AutoCAD, Revit, and electrical design software (or similar).
• Knowledge of Building Regulations and relevant standards (HTMs desirable but not essential).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license
