Site Manager - Demolition Project

Location: Fillingate, Leicester

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-5:00pm

Duration: 50 weeks

Start Date: Mid to End of June

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the full demolition of a  plant in Leicester. This is a complex, high‑level demolition project requiring someone with a proven background in managing large‑scale, high‑risk demolition works from start to finish.

You will oversee all site operations, ensure strict compliance with health & safety standards, coordinate subcontractors, manage site documentation, and maintain smooth day‑to‑day progress across the 50‑week programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all on‑site demolition activities
• Ensure full compliance with H&S legislation and company procedures
• Oversee high‑level demolition works and associated risk controls
• Manage subcontractors, labour, and site logistics
• Conduct daily briefings, toolbox talks, and site inspections
• Maintain accurate site records, RAMS, and progress reporting
• Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

   

Required Qualifications & Experience

• SMSTS
• First Aid - 3‑day course
• NVQ Level 6 - Black CSCS Card
• Strong background in high‑level demolition
• Experience managing demolition of industrial or plant facilities
