Job Title: Transport Supervisor
Location: Lutterworth
Employment: PAYE
Pay Rate: £16.48 per hour
Shifts: 18:00-6:00, 4 on 4 off

Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for a reliable, experienced Transport Supervisor to join our client in Lutterworth. Our client is one of the UK's largest parcel distribution companies.

Transport knowledge is essential, as you will be working in a busy transport office, and the role will include: 


Leading the Transport Team, ensuring all duties are undertaken: 

• Ensuring on-time departure and exception reporting
• Checking driver paperwork
• Updating delivery schedules 

Managing the workforce with: 

• Performance & output
• Disciplinary procedures
• Mentoring & Engagement 
• Staff development

You will play a key role in ensuring continuous improvement and always encouraging the company culture. What You Need:

• You will have experience in a fast-paced logistics operation
• You will have strong communication skills with the ability to communicate with people at all levels
• Demonstrate excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines
• Excellent computer and IT skills
• Have a health and safety focused mindset
