AM2PM are recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client in the NG90 area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about contributing to an efficient and collaborative workspace.

Details of a Warehouse Operative:

• Shift Patterns:

6 roles available including:

• • 06:00-14:00 OR 14:00-22:00, 5 out of 7 days, 40hrs per week
  • 06:00-14:00, 6 out of 7 days 48hrs per week
  • 06:00-14:00 AND 14:00-22:00 ROTATIONAL, 5 out of 7 days, 40hrs per week
  • 22:00-06:00, 3 out of 7 nights, 24hrs per week
  • 22:00-03:00, Sunday-Friday, 5 out of 6 nights, 25hrs per week
  • 22:00-06:00, 5 out of 7 nights, 40hrs per week

• Pay Rate: £12.71 - days, £13.26 - nights
• Position Type: Various roles available including both automated and manual order picking, assembly and quality checking, cleaning, stocking and organising and FLT roles including LLOP, Counterbalance and Reach Truck.

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with proficiency in accurately picking, packing, and labelling items for distribution using both manual and automated systems.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Physical fitness, with the ability to lift and move items as required (in line with safety guidelines).
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills to manage documentation and inventory control.

• Inspecting warehouse equipment, such as cages & totes, for safety standards before distribution back into the warehouse.
• Processing returns accurately using Warehouse Management Systems.
• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, adhering to safety protocols.
• Reporting any discrepancies, damages, or safety concerns promptly to the team leader or supervisor.
