SEND Teaching AssistantRecruitment Agency: Aspire People
Location: Lutterworth
Pay Rate: £105 per day
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday (5 days per week)
Aspire People have partnered with a school in Lutterworth and are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team.
Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)? Do you have experience working with pupils who require additional support to access their education?
We are looking for a patient, caring and committed individual who can provide tailored support to pupils, helping them overcome barriers to learning and reach their full potential.
The Role
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
Support pupils with their academic, social and emotional development.
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
Support pupils with communication, confidence and independence.
Help manage behaviour and promote positive learning environments.
Build strong and supportive relationships with pupils and staff.
The Ideal Candidate
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
Experience working within a school or educational setting is desirable.
Patient, caring, empathetic and resilient.
Confident supporting pupils with a range of additional needs.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Available to work 5 days per week, Monday to Friday.
Must hold a valid Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
What Aspire People Offer
